YMMV / The Partridge Family

  • Retroactive Recognition:

  • Serial Numbers Filed Off: The aforementioned Partridge Family 2200 AD was originally meant to be a new Jetsons series with an older cast, but ended up starring the Partridge Family instead and makes no effort whatsoever to hide this fact.
  • Sweet Dreams Fuel: Admit it: "Come On Get Happy" can make you smile on even the greyest of days.
  • Testosterone Brigade: The casting of Susan Dey as Laurie Partridge was intended to balance out David Cassidy's Estrogen Brigade. (Dey's numerous fanservicy roles later on suggest it worked.)
  • What an Idiot: If you want people to watch your show, it's really not a good idea to show behind- the-scenes footage of how your Fake Band performs.
