These are what we call the 'YMMV items.' Things that some people find in this work. We call them 'your mileage might vary' because not everyone sees these things in the same way. This starts discussions in the trope lists, a thing we don't want. Please use the discussion page if you'd like to discuss any of these items.
YMMV: The Golem
Harsher in Hindsight: The "decree against the Jews" inevitably evokes the anti-jewish legislation of Nazi Germany (particularly the Nuremberg Laws of 1935), and the circular badges the Jews wear on their clothes are poignantly reminiscent of the Star of David which Jews were forced to wear in Germany and most German-occupied territories c. 1939-1944.
The Woobie: The Golem. His pitiful cluelessness and sadness at being rejected are heart-wrenching at times.
