YMMV: The Double Life of Veronique
Nightmare Fuel: Weronicaís symptoms of a heart attack. The fact that a flasher passes near her doesnít make things funnier.
Alexandre, the author/puppeteer, who effectively stalks Veronique and reveals when they meet that it was a psychological experiment to see if it was possible for a woman to "respond to the call of an unknown man.". This, combined with him apparently taking Veronique's discovery that she may have had a double as inspiration for a book, combined with making two puppets of Veronique, puts the guy squarely into creepy territory. It's never revealed how he knows the things he knows, either, which raises a few questions...
