  • Awesome Music: "Juggernaut", the theme for TJ TV.
  • Growing the Beard: Since episode 27 of Plastic Addict, TJ goes into detail about aspects of the Transformers franchise that general viewers of his videos might not be as familiar with. This helps put things into context, which in turn, leads to better humor. Definitely a step in the right direction.
  • Harsher in Hindsight: TJ mentions that Demolisher is the 4th Worst Transformer of All Time because its fake rubber treads will begin breaking down one day. It'd eventually turn out not only was TJ right, but they broke down in such a way that they begin dissolving the surrounding plastic.
  • Hilarious in Hindsight:
    • In his review of Armada Sideswipe, he states that the point of Transformers was to become the vehicle, not drive themselves, as the latter is creepy. This is the Angry Birds: Transformers toy line's whole angle.
    • In his Plastic Addict episode of Revenge of the Fallen Demolishor, he goes on a tirade about the idea of making Blackout a Leader class figure solely because of the character's massive size in the movie to be stupid. Close to a decade later, the Transformers Studio Series toyline comes along with a Leader-class Blackout figure in its first wave.
    • His Plastic Addict episode of Beast Wars Retrax, where he considers Retrax to be one of the worst toys in the original Beast Wars toyline, ended up becomes this when 2022 comes in, and Retrax was confirmed to be included in the latest wave of reissued vintage Beast Wars figures alongside some of the other better vintage Beast Wars figures.
    • It seems like Hasbro took note of his video "Here's 10 G1 Transformers who Need New Toys", because every single character ranked on the list ended up getting new toys in the Transformers: War for Cybertron Trilogy toylines.
    • In "Here's 10 Transformers Who Will NEVER Get New Toys", TJ states that the likelihood of Magmatron getting a new figure is next to zero due to his relative obscurity in the West even compared to fellow Japanese Beast Wars characters Lio Convoy, Big Convoy, and Galvatron, the complexity involved with making three separate toys that can combine into a giant monster and fully functioning robot, and the lukewarm reception fans had towards the Japanese Beast Wars series. Come October, Legacy: United features Magmatron as the line's Commander-class figure that pulls off the combining gimmick extremely well and packs a bunch of articulation in both modes.
  • Nightmare Fuel: The Bruticus review is actually genuinely scary at times due to how Bruticus is played for most of it.
