• Demonic Spiders: The Centipedes and the faster Black Centipedes hunt your ship down, move erratically, and become very hard to hit with the wrong weapon at close range. The Lurkers are enemy saucers that orbit your ship and are the only mobile enemy to to have the ability to shoot back at you. Oh and they also evade your weapons and are freakishly fast.
• Goddamned Bats: Small blue orbs called Swarmers appear in vast numbers, making a beeline towards your ship. They have a tendency to evade your weapons as well unless you use the ice splitter.
• Moment of Awesome: The final boss in HD. So you've reached phase 5 at Segomo. What happens next? An attack by all the bosses you've previously fought. Conquer that, and you are treated to the WHOLE PLANET EXPLODING INTO A TRILLION SHARDS, revealing the final boss; a six-sided semi-spherical cube with faces on each side. You have to shoot the missile launchers on the satellites it deploys to force it to SHOOT ITSELF, since there's no other way to damage it as it's contained beneath your field of orbit.
