These are what we call the 'YMMV items.' Things that some people find in this work. We call them 'your mileage might vary' because not everyone sees these things in the same way. This starts discussions in the trope lists, a thing we don't want. Please use the discussion page if you'd like to discuss any of these items.
Bizarro Episode: Issue 8 of the DCnU Superboy series. It's an entire issue of Superboy fighting Grunge of the Gen13, who in the new universe is a Ravager. There was no build up to this issue, has no bearing on the series proper, it's just Superboy and Grunge fighting as Grunge talks about the qualifications of being a Ravager, and it is never mentioned again.
Ensemble Darkhorse: Of the four "replacement" Supermen from the "Reign of the Supermen" arc, Superboy was the only one who received a lasting series. (Steel got one, but it was canceled not long after.)
Fridge Brilliance: Conner's 'costume'- jeans and a T-shirt- seems odd at first, compared to pretty much every othersuperhero. But considering Conner's identity issues, it makes perfect sense. He's trying his hardest to not be Superman, in any way possible. He wants to be his own person, and his choice of costume reflects that.
Further than that, Conner's real identity is Superboy. He's wearing normal clothes because being Superboy is when he takes his costume off.
