YMMV / Steven Universe S3E10 "The New Lars"

• Fanfic Fuel: Steven can possess humans now. This revelation opens up so many possibilities.
• Genius Bonus: Sadie's right that sloths eat poop - they sneak into outhouses for it - but koalas also feed poop to their babies.
• He Really Can Act: Matthew Moy impressed a lot of fans with his performance as Steven in Lars' body, making his voice just slightly higher and getting quite a few of Zach Callison's typical deliveries down.
• They Wasted a Perfectly Good Plot:
  • Some fans think Sadie's belief that Steven swapped bodies with Lars instead of just straight-up possessing him would've been extremely interesting, given Lars doesn't understand Steven as much as Steven doesn't understand him.
  • Some believe that the idea of Steven being shown to still have some growing up to do despite how much he's matured as of late would've worked a lot better in a different episode (and involve at least one of the other Gems).
• Unintentionally Sympathetic: You can't really blame Lars for freaking out over the fact that someone was possessing his consciousness, or help to feel at least a little bad for the guy when you see the negative effects his bad attitude has had on his life-his parents seem to be afraid of/nervous around him, the Cool Kids just tolerate him, and a declaration of love to Sadie makes her think he's leading her on.
