YMMV: Steve Miller Band
  • Covered Up: Most of the Cover Versions mentioned on the main page. Special notice goes to Paul Pena's "Jet Airliner", whose original 1973 recording was shelved and left unreleased until 2000 - Miller heard it on a bootleg recording and liked it a lot, and his cover ended up paying Pena's bills for a while.
    • On the other end of this, many younger listeners are probably more familiar with Seal's rendition of "Fly Like an Eagle" from the Space Jam soundtrack than with Miller's original.
  • Epic Riff: "The Joker", "Take the Money and Run", "Fly Like an Eagle", "Rock'n Me", "Jet Airliner".
  • Hey, It's That Guy!: Paul McCartney co-wrote "My Dark Hour" and played drums, bass guitar and sang backing vocals on it, credited under the pseudonym "Paul Ramon".
  • Mondegreen: "The Joker" is a frequent source of these.
  • Painful Rhyme: "Take the Money and Run" (Texas/facts is/justice/taxes).
