- The Scrappy: The Authority cards that come with the base set, allowing players to keep count of their life points without resorting to paper and pencil. While a nice gesture, several reviewers and players don't like using them. It's cumbersome to look for the right amount and the players have to keep flipping over the cards. It's much easier to use counters, a digital app, or a tracking card. Cthulhu Realms has separate boards in which to keep track of their players points. The games publishers appears to have notice the reaction, and their fantasy spin off Hero Realms using two tracking cards for each player.
- Ugly Cute: The Blob Overlord and Ram Pilot cards. They look adorable with their big eyes and squishy pulpy bodies.
