Alas, Poor Scrappy: Even some people who disliked how Mr. Krabs treated Plankton in previous episodes have felt bad for him.
Cargo Ship: This episode takes Mr. Krabs’ obsession with money up to eleven when he marries a money disguise named Cashina.
Jerkass Woobie: Mr. Krabs choosing to bemoan his loneliness instead of crushing Plankton after he's exposed, and Plankton brushing off his genuine emotions as being crazy can make even Krabs' detractors feel bad for him. What makes him even more woobie-ish is that he looked honestly hurt when it was revealed to be Plankton.
Take That, Scrappy!: For those who dislike Mr. Krabs for his treatment of Plankton, particularly in "Plankton's Regular" and "One Coarse Meal", what Plankton does to Krabs by the end of this episode evens things up.
