• Aluminum Christmas Trees: The Fat Abbott Show being surprisingly profane wasn't just a joke from this episode. Fat Albert had a few episodes that contained uncensored profanity. The episode "Busted" infamously had inmates hurling profane threats at the Cosby Kids in its first airing. There was also the episode "The Mainstream," which had the word "retarded" used to describe a mentally handicapped child.
• Fridge Logic: Stan playing Truth or Dare to kiss Wendy makes no sense on two fronts, 1. Even if he does get dared to, he's just going to vomit on her as usual and 2. They're already officially in a relationship, so he can kiss her whenever he wants.
• Harsher in Hindsight:
  • Randy and Sharon briefly separate after a series of arguments. They get back together at the end of the episode. The episode itself is funny... but then along comes "You're Getting Old", which is "Clubhouses," only more dramatic (and a two-part episode).
  • Knowing Trey Parker would later undergo two divorces makes it awkward to see Stan talk about how much divorce sucks.
  • It's revealed here that Bebe is attracted to Kyle. Nine seasons later in The List, Bebe is responsible for rigging the titular list that the girls made, ranking the boys in school by how cute they are, as a means to get free shoes, and Bebe has no qualms with Kyle ending up at the bottom of the list as collateral, sending him into a Despair Event Horizon.
