• Fridge Brilliance: Of course Shaggy aced the driver's exam, given the years of his own time to drive the Mystery Machine and being a race car driver.
  • If one takes Scooby-Doo! The Mystery Begins as canon, then Shaggy was in fact the van's original driver.
• Funny Moments: The gang's Imagine Spots of them leading the resistance against an Alien Invasion.
• Ho Yay: Lots between Daphne and Shannon. Also, Velma and Daphne towards the end. Heck, never mind the end, Velma spends pretty much the whole feature being jealous that someone stole Daphne's attention away from her. Lampshaded by H.A.M. when he drops his robot persona to wonder why the distaff members of Mystery Incorporated are fighting about who liked who when they're in mortal danger.
• Moral Event Horizon: Not only does Shannon try to kill the gang, but everybody else on the moon as well.
