Tropes Applying To The Whole Show

  • Creepy Awesome: Mr. Wren and his amazingly chilling opening monologues are a wonderful introduction to each new installment of "Sagas of Sundry".
    • And Ivan as The Storyteller is as eery as he is awesome.
  • Friendly Fandoms: With many of the other Geek & Sundry shows, natch.
    Season 1: Dread
  • Alternative Character Interpretation: Given the duplicitous and secret-keeping nature of character creation, this is to be expected for a lot of characters.
    • Kayden. A selfish, unempathetic Jerkass who's trying to push as many buttons in the group as he can for kicks, or a horribly depressed Jerk Ass Woobie who's keeping up walls because he thinks there isn't a point to human connection anymore?
    • Tanner. Is he a put-upon woobie trying his best keep the group safe despite Kayden's bullying, or is he doing everything out of a warped sense of superiority and is not any better than Kayden in their arguments?
    • Darby. Does her being right about the "Goat Man" absolve her of some of the blame in her and Raina's breakup, or were her actions and neglect during that time a separate issue?
  • Jerk Ass Woobie: KAYDEN. He's definitely the most actively antagonistic of the main cast and yet it's hard not to feel for him when he breaks down crying on Sat late in the season.
  • Moe: Raina is being played by Amy Dallen after all.
  • Squick: Whatever it was the Raina/Amy reached into for the bucket challenge. Both in and out of character.
  • The Woobie: The whole cast by the time the show proper begins. These kids have not had a good time since their first adventure in the ITTD one-shot.
    • Sat in particular starts out desperately reaching out to all of her friends, none of whom responded back all year until the trip, and it only gets sadder after she reveals her drug troubles. For the entire last third of the season she is also in a state of grief over Tanner's death and her ultimately futile attempt to bring him back.
    Season 2: Madness
  • Moe: Both Selina and Fenly especially can be considered this.
  • Squick: The description of the cultist's brains being smashed across the apartment complex's floor is clearly this for some of the cast, and likely more than a few viewers as well.
