YMMV / Red Dwarf Season III "Timeslides"

• Harsher in Hindsight: A depressed Lister feels that being on Red Dwarf is worse than prison. Craig Charles would later serve a prison sentence on (later proved to be false) rape charges. And in-universe, Lister ends up in prison aboard the Red Dwarf in Series VIII.
• Hilarious in Hindsight: Kryten suggests averting the Kennedy assassination, and off the Dude, Not Funny! reactions from the others, quickly adds that his good taste chip must have malfunctioned. In "Tikka to Ride", the Dwarfers end up interfering with the assassination, thanks in part to Lister removing Kryten's guilt chip.
• Special Effect Failure: Lister's visit to the Nuremberg rally is an obvious wipe that doesn't move along with the flickering film, and Lister is clearly more in focus than Hitler. The Remastered version is a little more convincing, thanks to them stabilizing the film and adding a grain effect to the footage of Lister, but still not great.
• Woolseyism: In the Czech dub, the mention of alternative history Lister's fourteenth wife was changed to one about his fourteen-year-old wife. Yikes...
