YMMV: Pierce Brosnan
  • Hilarious in Hindsight: In 1987, he was featured in a series of Diet Coke commercials playing a suave, debonair Bond-esque character who was able to outsmart the many enemies trying to attack him in the ads. Eight years later...
  • Retroactive Recognition: One of his first film roles was in The Long Good Friday, pretty much as a walk-on. Back when it was made, Brosnan was absolutely nobody. By the time the DVD came out (twenty years later), he had his own segment on the special features, talking about how he got the part.
