• Broken Base: The reveal that Hook and Emma are having a baby is a controversial issue in the fandom. Either it is a sweet twist and a good end for Emma's story or a poor way to write out Emma and lessens her relationship with Henry, with no middle ground. It doesn't help that it means that Emma is barely in her final episode where she plays a minor role.
• Unexpected Character: The Captain Hook helping Henry and Regina, who has the identity of Officer Rogers in Hyperion Heights and who will be a main character in Season 7, is not the regular Hook but the version from the Wish Realm in Season 6.
• WTH, Costuming Department?: The blond wig they have Jennifer Morrison (who has went back to her natural brunette hair at this point in time) wearing this episode is not very convincing and is widely mocked whenever it is brought up.
