For anyone who watches Linkara's "History of Power Rangers" videos, the revelation that Kapri and Marah (Lothor's nieces (from Power Rangers: Ninja Storm)) are the nieces of Divatox (the Big Bad of Power Rangers Turbo). Linkara openly stated that Lothor felt like a Male Divatox, so the idea that they're related...
But it gets better and funnier. See, since Cameron is their cousin, Marah, Kapri, and Cameron are biologically related to more Power Rangers significant figures than anyone else in the entire franchise. The people they're related to includes Kanoi Watanabe (mentor, Ninja Storm), Lothor (Big Bad, Ninja Storm), Divatox (Big Bad, Turbo), Dimitira (Mentor, second half of Turbo and twin sister of Divatox), General Havoc (brother of Divatox), Elgar (Nephew of Divatox), not to mention each other (two Generals of Lothor and a Ninja Power Ranger). Tommy might be more Rangers than anyone else, but these three have family connections like no other.
Hayley having sex with Time Force Red Ranger replacement Marcus comes off as this, seeing as how Hayley was going to originally be revealed as a lesbian in the finale to Dino Thunder.
On that subject, at one point it's stated that for a while, people at Angel Grove High thought that Jason and Zack were in a relationship and that Trini was The Beard. Cut to 2017 and the new PR movie, where Trini reveals herself to be queer. Meanwhile, the comics released the same year revealed that Trini had a crush on Jason and, by the events of Zeo, is involved with Zack.
Six years after this fic's conclusion, we got a dino-themed season with an openly gay Ranger. Bonus points for her having a sabre-toothed tiger Zord just like Trini.
The Woobie: Conner. In every chapter he gets beat up by someone... granted that a lot of times, it's because he said something dumb, but then sometimes Kira beats him up for no reason, or because the other rangers think that he's thinking something. In chapter 56, after a fight with a group of clowns, he's shocked that no one is yelling at him or lecturing him, even though it wasn't his fault. Kinda feel bad for the guy...
