Big things are happening on TV Tropes! New admins, new designs, fewer ads, mobile versions, beta testing opportunities, thematic discovery engine, fun trope tools and toys, and much more - Learn how to help here and discuss here.
These are what we call the 'YMMV items.' Things that some people find in this work. We call them 'your mileage might vary' because not everyone sees these things in the same way. This starts discussions in the trope lists, a thing we don't want. Please use the discussion page if you'd like to discuss any of these items.
Designated Hero: Devlin. He really is a rather assy hero. He manipulates Alicia's love for him to encourage her to take the mission, and then judges her morals when she takes the job on. He fairly spits disdain at her at certain points in the film, especially when he learns she has successfully seduced Alex. In one of the latter scenes, when she is noticeably ill, he ascribes her manner to drunkenness. Finally, his action at the very last is stupid and petty. If he had taken Alex in the car, he could have got goodness knows how much valuable information from him and maybe even convinced the Nazis that they could continue safely in their business - spying on them all the while. Instead, he leaves him behind out of spite.
