- Designated Hero: Matsutaro is an extreme jerkass who never seems to learn his lesson. In the first episode of the anime alone he openly cheats on a test, and beats up the teacher who catches him cheating, yells at the elderly, steals other peoples' food and eats it, literally steals candy from a baby (His baby brother at that), hijacks a truck and forces the driver to attempt to run people over, and tries to molest his love interest.
- Fan Nickname: Scumbag Sumo, due to Matsutarou's Designated Hero status.
- LGBT Fanbase: It has a rather huge Bara fanbase due to featuring a lot of bulky, scantily clad men.
