  • Angel Wing's "you're my favorite ponies in Equestria" moments are darling.
• Ensemble Dark Horse:
  • Vapor Trail is quickly becoming a favorite, due to her soft-spoken nice personality, her Undying Loyalty to Sky, and her adorable actions in the episode.
  • Fellow Wonderbolts Academy hopeful Angel Wings has been popular with the fans, thanks to her cute character design and her wondering about Spitfire's comment about how one Pegasus's wings fell off due to flying so hard. Made even better by the fact that Jim Miller confirmed in a Tweet that she was an OC played by a little girl from the Make-A-Wish foundation who is a big fan of the show.
• What Do You Mean, It's Not Political?: Despite her Freudian Excuse, Vapor Trail's choice as a filly to take a traditional "woman behind the man" role to Sky Stinger is incongruent with the series' stated female empowerment stance. Fortunately it's shown to have ugly consequences for both of them, and thanks to coaching from Rainbow Dash and Princess Twilight not only does Vapor gain more independence and confidence, but she and Sky both become stronger fliers and even closer friends than before.
