|These are what we call the 'YMMV items.' Things that some people find in this work. We call them 'your mileage might vary' because not everyone sees these things in the same way. This starts discussions in the trope lists, a thing we don't want. Please use the discussion page if you'd like to discuss any of these items.|
YMMV: My Forged Wedding
- Macekre: Unlike most of Voltage USA's other localizations - which, although generally viewed poorly by the fanbase of the original versions, are recognizably adapted from the originals - White Lies & Sweet Nothings resembles My Forged Wedding only in the sense that both games involve pretending to be married.
- Values Dissonance: In Japan it's relatively common to refer to men older than oneself as "Uncle" as the protagonist does Kunihiko. Western players, however, are likely to find it somewhat off-putting that she keeps calling him "Uncle" until the very end of his route, even after their relationship has turned romantic.
