YMMV: My Fellow Americans
  • Harsher in Hindsight: When Kramer is arguing with Douglas in his (Kramer's) daughter's house, Kramer points out that Douglas was the one sitting next to Charlie Reynolds' dead body, Douglas sarcastically says that he enjoys spending time with dead people and that he would get perked right up if Kramer died at that moment. Jack Lemmon, the actor who played Kramer, died 5 years later.
    • This doesn't truly qualify as an example of that trope. Everyone in the entire world dies someday. A death is only harsher in hindsight if it bears eerie similarity to a death or dire event in the script. Jack Lemmon died of old age, not from being shot in the driver's seat of a car; therefore, not Harsher in Hindsight.
