YMMV: Movie 43
  • Bile Fascination: Its 4% on Rotten Tomatoes may attract this audience. Those people will dearly pay.
Richard Roeper: Even if you might think that sitting through Movie 43 would be an adventure along the lines of experiencing Showgirls or Howard the Duck, you'll be filled with regret five minutes into this atrocity. There's camp-fun bad and interestingly horrible bad, and then there's just awful.
  • Crosses the Line Twice: The film's whole premise.
  • Dude, Not Funny!: Genuinely cruel and sickening things were Played for Laughs.
  • Old Shame: With the exception of Farrelly, no one involved seems particularly proud of the finished product.
    • At the film's premiere, the only actors who showed up were Seann William Scott, Chloe Moretz, Common, and Jimmy Bennett. Others, like Elizabeth Banks and Kristen Bell were going to attend, but dropped out at the last minute, with one magazine claiming they were "too scared." And if Scott's red carpet interview was any indication, it sounds like the only reason he went was because he was hoping to see Halle Berry.
  • They Wasted A Perfectly Good Concept: The idea of having a film that was based around sketch comedy was not nearly executed as well as people had hoped it would be.
