  • Awesome Art: The covers for all four albums. Bath and Leaving Your Body Map get a surprising amount of approval and love for how simplistic but surreal they are.
  • Awesome Music: Basically, all of it. "Bath" in particular is considered an absolute classic of experimental metal.
  • Cult Classic: The band themselves. Though they didn't achieve much success and aren't very well known to this day, their unique sound and aesthetic have earned a loyal following.
  • Epileptic Trees: The fucking puzzle. To give an explanation, Toby stated that there's actually a puzzle within the liner notes/music of Bath and Leaving Your Body Map, and that "The Secret Song" was to help fans figured it out. As of this writing, nobody has fully figured it out, and it seems Toby won't divulge what the "secret" behind "The Secret Song"-Bath-Leaving Your Body Map is.
  • Even Better Sequel: The way Bath and Leaving Your Body Map are generally considered to My Fruit PsychoBells. The latter has received a warmer reception after the vinyl remaster, which revealed new sonic details on the album.
  • Genius Bonus: Their lyrics are packed with references to obscure bits of esoterica and occultism that most listeners probably won't understand (how many listeners will get that the line "I want you to think about 93" is probably a reference to Aleister Crowley, for example?). May verge into Viewers Are Geniuses territory in many cases.
  • Narm: Though otherwise a very pretty song, "Sleep Is a Curse" falls into this with the lyrics "I killed myself because I was stupid." It Makes Sense in Context, but still.
  • Nightmare Fuel: The intro to "Riseth He, the Numberless Pt. 2" contains muffled audio of what sounds like a woman screaming in pain.
    • The transition of '(Interlude 1)' to 'The Ferryman' is jolting to say the least.
    • The untitled track on My Fruit PsychoBells..., which are just...whispers.
    • The small story "Part the First' seen on old band shirts. Just.. what.
  • Signature Song: "Birth Pains of Astral Projection".
  • Sweet Dreams Fuel: "The Blue Ghost/Shedding Qliphoth" and "Interlude 3", both of which literally sound like they could be in a Studio Ghibli film. "Blight of River Systems" and "The Secret Song" could also qualify, as well as the entirety of Part the Second.
  • Tear Jerker: "Girl With a Watering Can" and "Geography."
  • They Changed It, Now It Sucks!: Averted with Part the Second. Fans mostly embraced its warmer sound. The fact that it was a free release probably didn't hurt matters any.
    • Tough Act to Follow: On the other hand, despite it being embraced and be loved, it didn't garner as much praise as Bath and by some extent, Leaving Your Body Map.
