 | These are what we call the 'YMMV items.' Things that some people find in this work. We call them 'your mileage might vary' because not everyone sees these things in the same way. This starts discussions in the trope lists, a thing we don't want. Please use the discussion page if you'd like to discuss any of these items. | |
YMMV: Masses To Masses
|
- Crowning Moment of Awesome:
- In Ian’s first case with Garrus, both of them manage to defeat the biotic elcor attacking them by blowing up an entire spaceport and melting said elcor’s face off.
- Ian two footed kicking a krogan in the face.
- Escaping from an exploding and burning building, whilst diving under shutters, running through flames and jumping holes in the floor.
- Killing a geth armature with a knife.
- 'Emasculating' a Krogan Battlemaster by using a knife to pop off his bone plate while being choked to death. Thank you Zaeed.
- "Just like peeling an orange. A big, screaming orange."
- Ian killing several war-trained varren with a sword.
- Ian taking a krogan to his knees with a fruit knife.
- Crowning Moment of Funny:
- Having to cover accidentally revealing knowledge from the Mass Effect games Ian shouldn’t have, the explanation makes Garrus become convinced Ian has a fetish for turians.
Garrus (to Rebecca): “I’ve got a really interesting story about your boyfriend, extranet search engines, and turians.”
- Punching Khalissa-Al Jilani, for insinuating Garrus and Ian are romantically involved.
- Wrex’s attempts at boosting his score in the kill competition that starts during Masses to Masses 2.
- Wrex talking to Ian about his relationship with Tali and Liara.
Wrex: Time to step up your game, Ian. 'Break out the L word,' as the humans say.
Ian: Lesbian?
Wrex: ...The other L word.
Ian: Lesbians?
- Crowning Moment of Heartwarming:
- Ian clutching at Garrus’s armour as he slowly dies, and Garrus crying. In a manly way. Obviously.
- Finding Rebecca/the husk version of her on the Fedele.
- Cultured Warrior: Ian, even if he’s not exactly ‘classically’ cultured (like art and stuff,) plus he’s a bit behind everyone else. About a hundred and seventy years, to be precise.
- Tear Jerker: Poor, poor Rebecca. And poor Ian when he finally finds her on Saleon's ship.
