- Base-Breaking Character: Dillon himself seems to be this for fans, some like him for his wide range of musical taste (more than Moth than anything), but some see him as a clone of Mues. The fact he has been appearing repeatedly in Mues' ''First Impressions'' series doesn't help the matter.
- Broken Base: Dillon's First Impressions and Shitcoms are these. First Impressions mainly feels as if he's nitpicky at that, insulting artists that he used to like or flat out hates (examples being attacking Bring Me the Horizon twice) and Shitcoms feel more like a weak attempt at MST, even more annoying fans when he criticized beloved shows such as Sabrina and Girl Meets World. All while having Dillon on board for it.
- Hilarious in Hindsight: In their February Billboard Bottom 10, they mention "Latch" by Disclosure featuring Sam Smith. They said that while they wouldn't get an opportunity to talk about it, it has the potential to be a big hit. A few months later, it became a Top 10 hit.
- It's Popular, Now It Sucks!: The theme of a good majority of their non-wrestling videos.
