- Awesome Music: The soundtrack is great, but the usage of "Bolero" and Beethoven's Seventh Symphony stand out. The original song, "Kudo Desu" by Yura Yura Teikoku, isn't bad, either.
- Crosses the Line Twice: About a half hour in, protagonist Yu has become a panty shot master, employing ninja moves to sneak photographs from up women's skirts in several extended montages - all so that he can confess to his priest father and receive beatings, which he views as the only display of genuine familial connection he can receive. And this is just part of his backstory.
- Signature Scene: Yu and Yoko's first meeting, which also immortalizes the shot of Aya in the backseat of her limo as she plays with her pet bird.
