• They Wasted a Perfectly Good Plot: Antonio starts as a widow, whose wife Laura died in a car accident long ago, and now is a brooding loner. She slowly warms up to Julia, and starts a relation with her. Theye are even close to the point of getting married! But then, it turns out that Laura had not really died, that she was kidnapped and tortured for years, until she could finally escape and return home. What will Antoni do now? And who will the audience root for? That would be a good, complex and interesting plot, filled of Grey-and-Gray Morality... if it wasn't revealed, by the end of Laura's first episode, that her kidnapping is just a scam, that she was cheating Antonio with Lisandro even in the distant happy days, and that her only goal is to get all the money of the Villalbas. Black-and-White Morality options at their prime.
