The Woobie: Quite a few of the npcs could be considered woobie-worthy given the situation, but some stand out more than others.
Robert Robinson. Having someone you love suffer an accident is bad enough as it is, let alone being diagnosed with DPD, but his girlfriend Sally seems convinced that she belongs in the world her mind created (with another man, no less) and refuses to communicate with Rob at all. His desperate attempts to reconnect with and help her and guide them both back to their normal life is just heartbreaking.
