YMMV / Kimi Wa Petto

  • Anvilicious - At one point Sumire's old boss explicitly tells her professional success is meaningless without love.
  • Hilarious in Hindsight: When Momo first meets Hasumi, the latter says, "Have we met before?" Momo immediately acts shy and says, "Oh no, Sumire-chan, I think he's asking me out...."note  An already funny moment becomes hilarious many chapters later, when Momo escapes from a homosexual bar owner by pretending Hasumi is his boyfriend, and then proceeding to kiss him.
  • Tear Jerker - Chapter 43. Hope you all enjoyed your romantic comedy, because now you're getting a lesson about why War Is Hell!
  • Maybe Magic, Maybe Mundane - Again, chapter 43. Was Yuta really just an Identical Stranger, or was he maybe an angel? Given the story's proclivity for Magical Realism and the fact that no explanation was given for the resemblance, either is possible.
  • Unintentionally Unsympathetic - Shiori. It's hard to feel sorry for her sad past when all she does is lie, manipulate, and blackmail her way through every situation she's in.
