- Demonic Spiders: Raptors are fittingly the most dangerous enemies in the game. Their complete absence in the Velociraptor's scenario (outside the Final Boss) is one reason the dinosaur has it so much easier than Grant.
- Epic Riff: The guitar riff at the start screen and during the credits.
- Even Better Sequel: Rampage Edition is more popular than its predecessor due to having a more fluid and less clunky gameplay style, improved graphics, better sound design and a superior soundtrack.
- Game-Breaker: Playing the game with a six-button turbo controller can make the infinite ammo dart gun shoot as fast as a machine gun.
- Harsher in Hindsight: The raptor being able to eat chocolate bars is pretty funny, but a year later, in The Lost World (1995), a raptor getting a taste for candy bars indirectly leads to the Cruel and Unusual Death of Eddie Carr.
- Hilarious in Hindsight: The red raptor boss that appears in the Raptor version of the ship stage, will remind people of the Indoraptor and Blue's fight against him in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.
- Inferred Holocaust: The game's instruction manual has Grant noticing that something fishy is happening on Isla Nublar and forcibly commandeers the escape chopper, crashing it and setting out to fight the dinosaurs and InGen mooks. Absolutely no mention is made of what happened to Ellie, Dr. Malcolm, Hammond, and Hammond's niece and nephew.
- Narm: The deep, scratchy "AAH!" death scream used for human enemies sounds too funny to take seriously.
- It gets especially hilarious when the Raptor goes into Rampage Mode and mows down rows of people at a time, all with the same two screams.
