YMMV / Human Killing Machine

Go To

  • Dancing Bear: Aside from its reputation as an Obvious Beta, the main reason people take interest in it is its status as a Divorced Installment to Street Fighter, to the point that some people bill it as "the other Street Fighter II."
  • Hilarious in Hindsight: One of the opponents in this Divorced Installment to the Street Fighter series that Kwon fights is a Lebanese man named Sagan who dresses in a white outfit that includes a keffiyeh. Several years later, Capcom introduced a middle-eastern guy of their own in Street Fighter V named Rashid who also happens to dress in white and other light colored clothing which also includes a keffiyeh.
  • Nintendo Hard: Not only is every opponent a borderline SNK Boss that also have far better Regenerating Health than Kwon, but there is also the "Kwon is Strong/Tired/Weak" Scrappy Mechanic where, depending on his performance against the prior opponent, Kwon has to win 3 to 5 times while the opponents have to win the opposite number of times. If Kwon is tired, then he and the opponent have an equal number of four knockdowns in order to win.
  • Scrappy Mechanic: If you do badly on 1 round, Kwon is declared as "weak" and must knock down his opponent 5 times while trying to avoid getting himself knocked out 3 times, giving the player an unfair disadvantage and making the fight drag on for far too long.
  • So Bad, It's Good: The character designs are incredibly stereotypical, almost to a laughable extent.
