Complete Monster: Season 2: The immortal Brother Michael, aka Vincente Michel Du Bois, obsessed with producing a child like himself, presides over a cult of his own descendants, sterilizing the men and impregnating the women for generations. Any woman who refuses to go along with this voluntarily is strapped to a gurney, has her teeth and vocal cords removed and is forcibly impregnated, then tube-fed for nine months before being killed when her child is born; a huge boneyard full of toothless skulls outside the cult's grounds shows this has been going on for a very long time. Whenever Michael feels the cult has grown beyond his control, he performs what he calls a "thinning"—killing all but a handful of its members—before starting afresh.
Ensemble Dark Horse: Doreen rapidly became a fan favorite, given her no-nonsense attitude, her status as a Deadpan Snarker, and her badass shrugging off of most of what she's encountered since coming to Arctic Biosystems. Her death wasn't well-received, to say the least.
Fan Nickname: Major Sergio Balleseros has been dubbed "Major Stabby" by many fans from various forums due to the nature of his job and how he executes it.
Funny Moments: During Julia's hallucination of the most passive-aggressive holiday dinner ever, all the guests blame her for the situation one by one…except for Hatake, who just happily chows down as if nothing's going on. "Pass the cranberry sauce, please?"
Hilarious in Hindsight: The series tagline of "Play God. Pay the price" is pretty humorous after Twitch Plays Pokémon had a veritable cult spring up over the Helix Fossil praising "Lord Helix" as a new god.
Nausea Fuel: The way the virus is transmitted via Orifice Invasion can cause some Squick. But nothing tops the scene where the other infected vomit into a cup and feed it to Peter.
