- Genius Bonus:
- A lot of the songs on The Mountain make allusions to Greek mythology to illustrate the message of the songs. "Atlas Stone" references the Greek god Atlas, "Cockroach King" references the myth of King Midas, and "Falling Back to Earth" uses Icarus Allusion.
- From the same album, "Pareidolia" is the name of a psychological phenomenon where our minds given an image or sound a special significance, often in seeing faces in land forms. This is what the song itself is about, and the album as a whole uses this as a theme.
- Growing the Beard: While they were gathering a lot of respect from Aquarius and Visions (which were good in their own right), the band made quite an impact with The Mountain, which carried over into Restoration.
- Signature Song: Their most popular song is "Cockroach King", thanks to a combination of being Awesome Music and having a humorous video (in which Muppet versions of the band do a Bohemian Parody). Haken would go on to create two whole albums based on the Cockroach King, Vector and Virus.
