• Aluminum Christmas Trees: In "The Case of the New Food", the main trio find a rabbit eating a blue carrot; the rabbit admits that it doesn't taste as good as an orange carrot, and it's all but stated that blue carrots aren't as natural, like orange ones. This may sound like something the writers invented to help support the episode's moral, but blue carrots are real, and they're just as natural as orange ones.
• Awesome Music: The theme song, (especially Season 2). The Brazillian version is even better.
• Older Than the Demographic: The series is aimed at preschoolers; the most common age range given is 3 to 7. Marina is 8. Fishtronaut's and Zeek's ages are never stated, but it's most likely that they're around the same age, if not slightly older.
• Pop-Culture Isolation: The show was actually fairly popular in Brazil, but as you can probably tell, it's completely unknown everywhere else.
