YMMV / Fast Forward

  • Acceptable Targets: Banks are the subjects of some very scathing sketches (including a recurring series featuring a bank manager and his servitude husband-and-wife clients).
  • Once Acceptable Targets: Two of the main sketch characters were Camp Gay flight attendants.
  • Hilarious in Hindsight: During the majority of the show, Bob Hawke was the Prime Minister of Australia he and and many politicians were the object of satire. Paul Keating was portrayed as the economy's worst nightmare and John Howard was portrayed as an enemy of Bob Hawke (due to belonging to the rival political party) and a complete peon. During the run of the show, Keating replaced Hawke as the real life Prime Minister after a leadership challenge. Howard ended up beating Keating in 1996 and lasting 11 years in office.
