• Crosses the Line Twice: Peter being unable to live his life outside prison because it's "the only world he knows anymore", to the point that he hangs himself? Tragic. Peter doing this after being in prison for only 15 minutes (and him having hung himself in the time it took Brian to explain this)? Hilarious.
• Harsher in Hindsight: Quagmire's remark about Brian only having three years left to live ironically echoed how Brian got struck by a car in "Life of Brian", which aired nearly three years after this episode.
• Hilarious in Hindsight:
  • With Avatar Customization introduced for Street Fighter 6's World Tour and Battle Hub modes, it is now possible, with a friend, to have both Peter Griffin and Mr. Washee Washee fight each other in the game, right down to having the two use Ryu and E. Honda's fighting styles, respectively.
  • Peter decides to pick up his white shirt from the dry cleaners instead of wearing a different one, because "it would throw people off" if they saw him wearing a different-coloured shirt. Three seasons later, Peter would end up with an Evil Twin who looks just like him, except he's wearing a green shirt instead of a white one.
