Acceptable Religious Targets: Evangelical Christians, making it one of the most awesome webcomics I will never be able to read.
Mary Sue: The lengthy name, suspiciously tom boyish traits, and the central importance of the protagonist have led some to call Mary Sue. Having her being an extremely attractive, transhuman cyborg probably doesn't help either.
Unfortunate Implications: The portrayal of Christians as insane fundamentalist Christians would be this, if it wasn't intentional.
Woobie, Destroyer of Worlds: Take a look at this and tell me that you don't want to give Kimiko a reassuring hug, you filthy liar. Even the Hob felt sorry for her. How can you live with yourself?
