• Special Effects Failure: The Doctor discovers Knockout Gas seeping out of a vent that is obviously just a completely normal sink plug. Then again, if you're installing hidden gas vents in a mundane room, why wouldn't you use off-the-shelf parts?

• Unintentional Period Piece: While there is some, the security in the airport is extremely lax compared to what modern viewers may have come to expect in a post-9/11 world. At one point the Doctor makes a fake bomb threat which is played as a joke and swiftly moved on from with essentially no repercussions, something that would be unthinkable today.
