Narm Charm: Sure, the film might be a bit silly, but the way the bizarre plot is played completely seriously gives it an air of unreality that's actually a bit creepy and unnerving. The cast members' complete lack of emotion in some ways makes the whole thing even creepier.
Padding: A lot of scenes are really dragged out and slow, like the one described above.
What Do You Mean, It Wasn't Made on Drugs?: Possiblity averted; the director, George Berry, claims to have no memory whatsoever of making the film. Though it's a rare case where you suspect that it was not the director but the whole cast that was actively taking some substances (namely, sedatives; see Dull Surprise).
