• Evil Is Cool: Angel is a ruthless son of a bitch, but Ron Perlman's natural charisma shines through and makes him quite likeable.
• Faux Symbolism: The main character is named Jesus, and he ends coming back from death at one point in a scene very reminiscent of how Biblical movies tend to portray the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
• Special Effects Failure: Jesus had his head turned 180 degrees when the car was pushed off the cliff but due to his posture and hands, you can tell he's just wearing his suit backwards.
