MST3K Mantra: It was an entertainment show. People looking for a scholarly treatise on the finer points of the Battle of Hastings might try opening a book instead. People here to watch Peter Woodward swing an axe at a guy while screaming like a madman, on the other hand...
Narm Charm: Peter Woodward and the Conquest team got to go to work and play barbarian or ninja or start throwing knives at targets. Quite understandably, they have a lot of fun throughout despite the lack of polish, and it shows.
