These are what we call the 'YMMV items.' Things that some people find in this work. We call them 'your mileage might vary' because not everyone sees these things in the same way. This starts discussions in the trope lists, a thing we don't want. Please use the discussion page if you'd like to discuss any of these items.
YMMV: Chris Colfer
Crowning Music of Awesome: His rendition of "Defying Gravity" was heartbreaking, his "A House is Not a Home" induced tears all over America, and he was completely Gaga-licious on lead vocals for "Bad Romance", but it is his fiercely, courageously defiant rendition of "Rose's Turn" from Gypsy that is arguably the best song of the season.
Season 2 gives us "I Wanna Hold Your Hand", "Le Jazz Hot", "Don't Cry For Me, Argentina", "Baby, It's Cold Outside", "Blackbird", "Candles", "As If We Never Said Goodbye" and "Some People".
And Season 3 gives us "I'm the Greatest Star", "Let It Snow", "ABC", "I Have Nothing", and "Not the Boy Next Door". Not as many solos, but just as much punch.
Crowning Moment of Awesome: In 2008, Chris graduated from Clovis High School in Clovis, California, an absurdly tiny, conservative, homophobic small town in California where he had been bullied all his life. In 2009, Chris had so impressed Ryan Murphy and co. that they wrote a character into Glee just for him. In 2010, he was acknowledged alongside Jane Lynch as the breakout star of the show and was nominated for an Emmy over the rest of the ensemble cast. In 2011, he won a Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actor for his work on the show and was named one of Time's most influential. Wonder what 2012 is gonna bring?
He Really Can Act: It was during the episode "Wheels" that most of America sat up and went, "Whoa. This kid is good." He proved it when he was the only supporting actor to get an Emmy nod over the rest of the ensemble.
