  • Ending Fatigue: Averted. Once you're out of tiles, the game is over. This aversion actually one of the strengths of the game since it doesn't drag on like so many other strategy-heavy board games.
  • Sequelitis: Some people don't mind the limited differences between each sequel, and some think the series has gotten stale. This is especially evident in the reviews for New World, where the opinions are split between "great" and "too different."
