YMMV / Calvin and Hobbes III: Double Trouble

• Funny Moments: In the rewrite:
  • MTM trying to teleport Calvin away from the kidnapper results in various objects around that area getting randomly teleported away, with Chill trying to figure out what the noise is and Calvin left exasperated by the MTM's failure. Meanwhile, Andy has had a sheet draped on his face, various burger wrappers and empty cups are on the console, a bookshelf is in the corner, and a bunch of firewood is next to Sherman's desk.
  • Rupert's crew is as incompetent as ever, providing some good laughs:
    "Hello insert planetary leader name here! We are the Zokian Empire! I am insert Royal Zokian Army name #1 here and insert Royal Zokian Army name #2 here. We are your new leaders now. We will take over your planet by force if applicable, parentheses see page 36 for more info parentheses."
  • The gang's birthday video to Calvin is mostly a Heartwarming Moment which ends with them smiling and wishing Calvin a happy birthday. But then Socrates' inability to direct a movie comes into play...

    Sherman: ...Are we done? Can we stop smiling now?
    Socrates: Keep holding a little longer...
    Andy: Socrates, I think he gets the point now. He probably thinks this is creepy.
    Socrates: Smile, darn you! Smiles make everything better!
    Hobbes: Not when they exceed five seconds, they don't.
    Socrates: Just keep smiling!
    Sherman: My face is going numb. Elliot, just cut already!
    Socrates: No, don't!
