• Unintentionally Unsympathetic: Kaoruko big time. She may be right about being angry at Azuma for leaving her behind in Taiwan and him accompanying their father to travel years ago, but she took that resentment way too far. Whenever they interact, all she does is demonizing and blaming him for leaving her in Taiwan, she refuses to listen to any explanations. Even going far to try to steal Oubu's her from him, to which only Migiwa entrusted him.
• Visual Effects of Awesome: Although it runs into the same kinds of problems many Japanese CGI shows get into, the series makes great use of the expressiveness of the characters, and the fight scenes look very impressive.
