YMMV / Beatles Cartoon

  • Crowning Music of Awesome: This is based on The Beatles after all.
  • Hilarious in Hindsight:
    • Paul being knighted for discovering the cure for malaria.
    • "Little John"?
    • In "Anna", a mysterious ''Japanese'' woman captivates John, psychologically controlling him to the point where he abandons the group. Oh, wait — not John, but Paul.
    • "All My Loving" depicts the Beatles on a "goodwill trip" to India.
  • Ho Yay
  • Hollywood Homely: Hakim's assistant from "She Loves You".
  • Nightmare Fuel: The "Eleanor Rigby" sing-along segment. Most of the singalongs are kid-friendly, but this is far from it. The visuals for this are more akin to when the song was featured in Yellow Submarine.
  • Seasonal Rot: Everyone on the production team agrees that the episodes made in Australia are the worst.
  • So Bad, It's Good: George Harrison said about the cartoons that they were "so bad or silly that they were good."
  • Uncanny Valley: Robin Hood and his giant freaking eyes in "Taxman". This would not be such a problem if he didn't look into the camera every three seconds.
  • Values Dissonance: Part of why the series was never given a DVD release is because of the abundance of racial humor. And we don't mean the occasionally insensitive remark or stereotypical joke, we mean almost every episode has some kind of racist caricature (most infamous is Ringo's "Chinaman" impression in one episode) to the point that editing them out would reduce episodes to nothingness.
