* BigLippedAlligatorMoment: Almost every time a cartoon effect is used, Paras playing a cardboard cutout piano in his debut episode and the [[RogerRabbitEffect wig-wearing seagull]] from episode 9 being the most blatant examples. By the time they get to [[RogerRabbitEffect interact with cartoon characters]], [[ItMakesSenseInContext it actually makes sense]].
* CompleteMonster: [[BigBad Dezumozorlya]], worshipped by the Evoliens as a GodOfEvil, has launched genocidal wars against innocent planets for no reason other than bigotry, for fun, or because the people of those worlds refused to worship him as a god. It also stands as the only [[RapeIsASpecialKindOfEvil rapist]] in the entire franchise as it brainwashed Mahoro so she could give birth to [[TheDragon Lijewl]] and cares nothing about the fact that its acts are despicable. Despite his belief in his superiority to other lifeforms, Dezumozorlya demonstrates cruelty and sadism, such as how it takes sheer delight in the destruction it causes in the finale, which shows it is NotSoDifferent to the beings that it despises.
* ContinuitySnarl: The series contradicts some details that were established in previous dinosaur-themed ''Series/KyoryuSentaiZyuranger'' where it was said that the dinosaurs were wiped out by Bandora, not a meteor. Unless Bandora called down a meteor as her final attack on dinosaurs. This lends to the idea that apart from crossover specials and ''Series/KaizokuSentaiGokaiger'' (and by extension, ''Series/DoubutsuSentaiZyuohger''), most Sentai series are separate continuities with each other, due to irreconcilable background info between series. ''Series/EngineSentaiGoonger'' also contradicts this and Zyuranger's extinction cause.
* CrowningMusicOfAwesome : "''Fight! For the earth!!''", which can be heard in [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6TamvAUy4Yc this]] music video.
** [=AbareKiller=]'s personal theme song, ''[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DZDx8QADATo Dead End Game]]'', which he sings himself.
** [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4u9frh0IbRs The opening.]] Its [[HotBlooded hot-bloodedness]] makes you want to go rampage like a dinosaur.
*** [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q5mFaax3zy8 The live version.]] Sung by the man himself, [[JAMProject Masaki Endoh]].
* DracoInLeatherPants: Abare Killer. [[spoiler:Granted, his HeelFaceTurn late in the series makes him more sympathetic in the end...]]
* EarWorm: The clock-chime melody Yukito used to lure the Giganoid away in episode 5 was pretty catchy. Although when you consider the Giganoid's [[KillItWithFire actual reaction to it...]]
** The [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AQMDgR3NEC4&feature=related ED]]. I mean come on.
* EndingFatigue: Both episodes 47 and 48 have fairly dramatic narrative resolutions, with 47 featuring [[spoiler: the fulfillment of a prophecy involving the BigBad]] and 48 having an epic giant Mecha fight against two powerful enemies and the [[spoiler: HeroicSacrifice of Abarekiller]]. And then there are still two more episodes to go.
* EvilIsCool: Mikoto
* EvilIsSexy: Jannu
* FoeYay: Asuka and Jannu. [[spoiler:Then again, they ''are'' husband and wife.]]
* FridgeBrilliance: The reason why Ryouga's Ranger name is '''Aba'''Red and not '''Abare'''Red is because "Aba'''re'''" and "'''Re'''d" share the same "re" kana, so it would be rather redundant to use the same kana twice.
* HilariousInHindsight: Aside from Parasa, wasn't [[Series/EngineSentaiGoOnger another peppy green mecha]] spouting GratuitousSpanish in a more recent Super Sentai?
* ItWasHisSled: [[spoiler: The death of Mikoto/[=AbareKiller=] is pretty common knowledge.]]
* LikeYouWouldReallyDoIt: [[spoiler: Asuka's death in episode 32.]]
* MagnificentBastard: Mikoto crosses the line between this and SmugSnake.
* TooCoolToLive: [[spoiler:Abare Killer and Top Galer.]]
* TheWoobie: Asuka and Mai.
** StoicWoobie: Yukito
* {{Woolseyism}}: The names of the Trinoids are all combinations of the three things (animal, plant, and inanimate object) that they're made of. Imagination Station's subs translates these names into English while still preserving the combination of the three items.
