  • Ensemble Dark Horse: Certain comedians are definitely fan favorites. Ron Funches might be the most popular, having won nearly all of his appearances including the show's 100th episode.
    • The show itself is an example for Comedy Central. It got a brief pilot run as a lead-out for the The Colbert Report and proved to be a hit. Now it has seemingly joined the Report and The Daily Show as part of Comedy Central's late-night "Big 3" and has even been nominated for an Emmy.
    • Chris' mom is memorably hilarious in her appearances due to her obsession with sports, her (mock) disappointment in her nerdy son, and her incredibly dirty tweets.
  • Fridge Logic: There have been quite a few panelists and topics which would have matched up incredibly well, but for some reason were not used. For example:
    • They have a couple categories based off of The Price Is Right. And at one point, they had TPIR host Drew Carey as a contestant once. Why didn't they think to put two and two together on this?
    • Same thing happened to Mary-Lynn Rajskub. She was on the show and no 24 related stuff?
    • What makes it especially odd is that the show is usually quite good about taking advantage of these moments. For example, they made sure to have musical categories when "Weird Al" Yankovic and Tenacious D were on, and they had several Professional Wrestling related categories when Chris Jericho was a panelist.
  • Genius Bonus: Pops up occasionally, such as when Chris and Andy Daly go off on a tagent about the Irish potato famine. Chris really seems to enjoy jokes that require a bit of back knowledge to get, almost as much as he enjoys puns.
  • Memetic Mutation: POINTS!!!
  • Squick: The second-last episode featured Hardwick discussing and presenting rejected round and topic ideas. One of them was vore, demonstrated by, ahem, ponies (the video involved the bizarre sight of Twilight Sparkle getting shot into Trixie's flank with a cannon). The panelists were quite repulsed.
