• Broken Base:
  • There's a segment of viewers who feel uncomfortable at how the series treats the various issues the girls in class 7 have as a source of laughs.
  • The existence of Class 7 itself, which some find patronizing or outright discriminatory, regardless of how really well-meaning the school's adminstration was when the class was set up. Not helped by the fact that how "unfortunate" the girls are was decided by the school, rather than the girls themselves or their families. Anne, for one thing, doesn't seem to realize she is Born Unlucky, and Ruri isn't even considered unlucky on both sides of the fourth wall until Kodaira explains—viewers usually sees the latter's issue a parody of the stereotypical otaku trait Perverse Sexual Lust, and thus something out of choice.
  • The whole "board game" section that made up a good part of episode 3. Some viewers found it harmless fun, while others saw it as a sign that the school really didn't have any idea how to solve Class 7's misfortunes, and was just playing with the girls so it could laugh at them.
• Fan Nickname: Timololi for Tsubaki, owing to the fact that she is the person behind the Timothies, plus the fact that she looks relatively youthful.
• Les Yay:
  • Ren X Hibiki:
    • It's pretty obvious that the person that Hibiki likes is Ren, just Hibiki can't spit it out in episode 3. Not helped by how she acts like a Clingy Jealous Girl around Ren, nor the Luminescent Blush she experienced when Ren princess-carried her.
    • She almost accidentally admits those affections to Ruri in episode 5, barely managing to change her sentence at the last moment. In fact, episode 5 was mainly focused on flashbacks to the start of their friendship and how it relates to their current relationship, basically how Hibiki came to love Ren, and how Ren went out of her way to care for her.
    • When Hibiki runs out of breath while swimming and swallows too much water, Ren revives her with mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. Once Hibiki is aware of it, she becomes very embarrassed.
  • Ruri with Anne:
    • The Pocky Game in episode 2 shows that she's very aware of the significance of the game, which is why she's also VERY uncomfortable doing it with Anne.
• Moe: The main cast all look especially huggable.
• Visual Effects of Awesome:
  • The moment the girls step out of the flower maze in episode 4, and into the field of wisteria flowers, all of which was bathed in the light of the coming sunset. It's very VERY pretty to say the least.
  • The magical girl segment in Episode 8.
  • All the Humongous Mecha and Gundam Shout-Out in Episode 12.
• The Woobie: Anne. Just about everything that can go wrong with her does, but she soldiers on with enthusiasm and a smile.
